Not worried at all about the 40 million price tag really. Considering how inflated the prices are in England at the moment, 40m feels like the equivalent of 15-20m 7-8 years ago. Just pay the money and get him in.

This. All day long. We're gonna see some crazy fees this summer. £45m (or thereabouts) for a PL proven, goal scoring midfielder won't seem that much by the end of it.

We only wanted Naughton and still were in for him. Then Spurs came in and said we'll take both so Sheffield Utd agreed the deal with them.

I'm sorry but if Man City have agreed to pay 50 million for Kyke Walker, then Sigurdsson is worth the same money. That's where we are these days unfortunately. Pay the money or go without.

We're paying the money! Much rather these days than the "free transfer" under the old regime!!
