While you're here: what do you think of Tuchel's career turn of late? I know you were a big fan, but he seems to be out in the cold again.

FWIW I was a sceptic but liked what I seen at Dortmund.

Stats very much in his favour. Might be a bit precious / hard to work with from a club owner point of view. I'd swap him for Koeman in a second.

They should have run Bayern closer last year and his overly defensive tactics were suicide against Monaco. Should've played Pulisic more too

Just a pity we weren't recruiting this summer. I'm sure he'd have jumped at the chance to manager in the PL at a club like this.

Hopefully he does another sabbatical and we can get him next summer.

I think he was very positive. I dont like Aubameyang. I know he scored a bagful, but he needs about three gilt edged chances to score. If Tuchel had a peak Lewandowski to draw on he'd have been a lot closer to Bayern. Still, CL and a cup in the cabinet is not a bad season...certainy not one to get sacked over.

Probably a bit insane to use that Neymar transfer to justify anything though surely.

The spending has gone insane though, 90million for Lukaku, 50million for Siggy and Walker, 30million for Pickford etc

Every team in the world wanted him.

There are many players in Europe who have signed this year for far less than £50m who are massively better value than Gylfi.

£50m is more than any team has ever spent in Germany.

Every team wanted him yet only PSG actually bid for him ? That doesn't sound like every team wanting him

Please give us a list of 20 players who have signed for less than £50mil who are proven in the premiership as quality despite playing for relegation threatened teams.
