If that's the case then 45 m for Siggy is OK and the 3 players you mentioned are worth north of 100 m
FFS we got 8 Million for the best English player of his generation ( not my words ) from Watford.
That should have told us what type of a market we are in.
I'm putting my head on the block here and am going to say we will spend another 100 m gross this window

It's best to go with one experienced defender and a younger talented back to provide balance. Williams, for all of his faults is a leader on the pitch and will command the back line. He has had a year to settle into this Everton side. Let's go big for another center half next year.

Like, if we had £50m left, (we dont, I know, but if), and we had to improve the squad, as it currently is, full back and centre half starters/cover is more pressing imo.

That said, the new Everton will probably do all 3.
