Honestly he is providing balance here in a very concrete way, but raising some excellent points and concerns. I don't wholly disagree with what he's saying, more that the jury is out.

All you need to do is half most transfer fees now and you'll see true value. He's £25m, Pickford and Keane £12.5m etc.

id be very surprised Dave if we sold the players mentioned that we only spent 70 million. 50 on Iceland, we will buy a striker i believe which will set us back another 30 mil minimum plus another midfielder if Mccarthy leaves for anything between 20 - 30 million. I guess time will tell mate
