£75 for a 7/8 year old? Disgraceful.

It's literal meaning is a mark made on a wall or building by a surveyor for use as a reference point, but I take your point! :)

However, I wouldn't compare what Huddersfield would expect to charge fans with what the likes of Chelsea probably do.

Also, a club could take a stand and not follow the herd and had the 7/8 year old kit been around £50 - which is more than reasonable for a child kit - I would have purchased it.

If it £50 across the board mate somebody would be complaining about it being £50 because that’s still a lot of money really .

I was trying to compromise mate. Apparently £300 trainers is just the way of things these days and we should all just accept it. :hayee:

Unfortunately though it’s the way of life , what I’d pay for something I wanted some people would think mad others would spend a lot more it all depends of where you’re coming from .

Spending on kids is tough I can see that but it’s a like I said maybe get last years or a training kit but if you do have to pay top whack in my experience they do wear if almost constantly so you do get your money’s worth . Doesn’t mean it helps people who can’t afford it obviously.

you still moaning abar this kit, kinell lad just go and buy a blag one or something

as with the trainers no one makes you buy them it was just a point that nice things cost money

make a flag next time you go the match fuming abar the £75 kit they might let you have a go at the crossbar challenge and get vouchers

Have done. ...and the wee fella will be gutted not to be getting his Everton kit this year. Defo shafting the weans like.
Its a rip off - I had to beg to go to a game -My mum made my Bobby hat itched my head off - the good old days lol
My dad bought me a scarf - that was it and that was for a Birthday present - the just a plain blue football shirt with a white V neck - the only number you could have on your back stitched on was 4, 7, or 11lol it looked awful , but that was never used to go to the match in it was to play out in......footie with a cheapo Frido ball - that did a loop de loop and burst in about a week.....

Calvert Lewin just calls it a normal football.

A full kids kit back in my day (90's) was about £40 (£25 shirt, £10 shorts, £5 socks). Add inflation, cost of living etc to that and you're probably not short of that £75.
