Alright you lot, you're ruining the only political thread we are allowed to have.......

Meanwhile has anyone noticed how virtually all of the Labour big beasts have all come out and said Miliband made a complete hash of the party and the election.......even Alan Sugar has jacked it in.......

Tell you what, I'm sure the Conservatives have a big smile on their face that Jarvis won't be running in 2020.

Just to be clear, do you or do you not think that people who would like controlled immigration are racist xenophobes? It's the impression you give.

Not all of them, no. There are however individuals who tackle the immigration agenda in such a manner that it promotes xenophobia amongst the general population, to the extent that it is then perceived as acceptable. It isn't.

Ok I will try to resolve this before moving on as it was a joke and not to be taken seriously. My response was regarding this.

Is just another way of calling someone a racist. That's what you are implying and before you say you aren't pull the other one.

You should be the one retracting what you said.

As I stated, it was a comment about the scaremongering in the Telegraph.

I'd agree that there are some individuals, however most of those individuals want no immigration. The people that want controlled immigration tend not to be racist or xenophobic.

Controlled immigration.

So you don't think that Farage and UKIP have contributed in any way whatsoever to the rise of xenophobia in this country?

I've been with you up until this point, I just can't get my head around why you would want to spend a fortune privately educating your children as a matter of principle. Sending your child to a public school isn't gonna deny other children an education.
Never said it would. But by not sending my child to a state school I contribute financially into the system and take nothing out of it, making me a net contributor. I think that is something to be proud of, and seeing as I am in a position to do it I believe it would be greedy and hypocritical not to.

Some people spend fortunes on smoking, or drinking, or fast cars or fancy holidays, or whatever. The point is, it's their money to choose to spend as they see fit. I have the same right to make my own choice, and my choice happens to also help the state system a little bit. Win/win.

They may have contributed to some small minded people, but their policies and views on immigration are not racist or xenophobic and finally we are actually allowed to have a debate about mass immigration.

In fact, their immigration policy is the least racist policy apart from having open boarders.
