Actually, I feel a bit sorry for Ipswich, a fine club with a great history. Bobby Robson's side was one of the finest I have ever seen.

It's a sad state of affairs when they can't even compete with a doped Man City. It's really killing the game that such corrosive inequality is actively encouraged by the Greed Is Good and Human Rights Are Optional League.

Rubbish. We were one of the 5 scab clubs that started this whole sorry mess so it's ridiculous to now blame City.

Currently 4 points (plus a positive goal difference) out of the bottom 3 with a game in hand. Ipswich have to win 2 more games than us (or win 1 and draw 2) in 16 games, having only won 3 in 22, to overtake us.

If Chelsea do the business’s tomorrow, Wolves are in the same position as Ipswich.

Nothing's a given in football, but both Wolves and Ipswich winning 2 more games than us isn’t likely.

We have a half decent fixture list between now and the end of Feb. Let’s make the most of it and leave Ipswich and Wolves to fight it out.
