2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

I think we might be gone, tbh.

Regardless of how much of a scumbag he is I'll be hopping to be proved wrong on Moyes.

The club is much more important than winning debates over managers and owners.

But I look at this situation now as all but lost. The squad was Dyche's and they were playing for him and even though many knew they wont be here next season they would have continued to put it in.

Moyes knows no one in this team starter wise and really only Coleman who he can hand a game to.

Unless he's allowed to bring 3/4 players in this January I think that's it. And, tbf, without those extra players I dont think anyone else gets us safe.

This past 24 hours has been a disaster and almost certainly relegated us.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa

Will be a tough game tomorrow evening at Palace. If we somehow sneak a win there then I think it’s probably more about looking up the table but we’ll see how it goes.
Yeah agree it could be very tough. Never easy to play on a Saturday after a demanding mid week game, especially a derby. And I think we will be really short for players as well. We can still win the game if we perform, but I think a point would be very acceptable to be honest. If we could get even a point I don't think we'd lose too much ground on the teams below or above us.

Ipswich and Leicester both have tricky games, although hard to know really with Arsenal's injuries. If neither of those teams win, then we will keep a comfortable gap

Even though it was only 1 point I think Wednesday made us safe. When the gap was 9 I was thinking it only takes 2 wins for the teams below to get to striking distance of us but 10 with the goal difference on top means even a couple of wins when we lose and there's still a healthy gap. You're not totally safe until you are obviously, but it would be one hell of a turnaround now.

I think if both Leicester & Ipswich lose on Saturday regardless of our own result then that'll realistically be that.
