If we are in a relegation battle come Christmas then the manager has taken us backwards and should be sacked.

I don't expect to be more than 5 points clear of 18th going into Boxing day match. I mean Palace finally won today and they're just three points off with a better GD.

There are 4 points between 8th and 16th and we’re closer to Spurs in 8th than the bottom 3 at the moment.

Palace are a good side. Few players have been out of form but they will be fine.

I think Saints and Ipswich go plus one of Leicester or Wolves. I must be watching a different team to others. Wolves have a couple of good players but they are a gash side. Yes, they have had a difficult run of fixtures but 2 draws and 7 losses from 9 games is shocking regardless. Hopefully Palace turn them over next week and a nice professional away win at St Mary's will do nicely.

I mean it's 5 points now and that's with winning a couple of games and five matches unbeaten . To be more clear of that need to beat Southampton, Brentford, Wolves and then get a shock win v either RS or Chelsea.

The teams below will start winning again soon. Just look at the fixtures next week (Wolves-Palace and Ipswich-Leicester) so that's why winning away at Southampton is crucial otherwise a couple are right on the tail.

West Ham and Palace aren’t in a relegation battle.

Palace only actually conceded 6 goals since August so that's a decent base to build on. Mateta has another scoring spree and they'll win 2-3 games in quick succession.

West Ham are bang mid table team, 11th place and 50 points feels right for them.
