2024/25 Relegation Thread

I don't see a world where you go down instead of us. Even when you're at your bleakest you have the nous to just do enough. Our defending is beyond an embarrassment and we're still relying on an almost 38 year old Jamie Vardy to drag us through.

I think whoever gets rid of their manager first gives themselves a chance

You think you will bring in any players in the jan window? Feel like he will stay at you until you drop into the bottom 3 just getting away with it atm. Here untul the takeover dyche is safe imo

In all honesty looking at the business in the summer I hope we don't. No point throwing more money at it when the guy in charge is so inept. The scary thing is the EFL are already sharpening their knives for when we come down so it could end up with a prolonged spell in the football league. But our hierarchy have had it coming placing so much loyalty to Rodgers the last time around

In terms of points per game, our form over the last 6 games is a little higher of where I expected us to be over the course of the season...1.5ppg which would be 57 over the course of a 38 game season. I've said for a while now I expect a 50 point season minimum.

It's that stupid, unacceptable run of losses at the start of the season (particularly throwing away 2x 2 goal leads) that's causing us to play catch up.

Still, I still don't expect to be looking nervously over our shoulder when we get to the last month or so of the season.

Why would we get rid of a manager who knows how to keep a team up?

This is intentionally bad advice to a bottom half of the table rival.

I have Southampton, Ipswich and Palace to go.

Hiya Fox. I don't see a world where Everton ever go down. We just don't do relegation. We nearly do, but we don't. Not being arrogant, it is just how I feel.
