2024/25 Relegation Thread

Easily remedied if Branthwaite stays and Dixon beds in:

Dixon Branthers Tarks Mykolenko

(subs: Young/Coleman/Holgate/O'Brien/Keane)
Our defense - bar the game yesterday is not the problem - our crap attack is the problem. How can you re-sign
Harrison? The team cannot score goals, cannot put a move together in the final third, there are no crosses and we
have no attacking full-backs. We still have Doucoure at no. 10 ! The defense is average the attack atrocious.

EFC have to get a decent winger that can run fast before the 30th, sort out DCL one way or another and let Ndaye play in
his usual position.

The attack is of course the problem. We have DCL to thank for that. He wont shift so we cant buy in.

Harrison is fine. He just needs a decent RB behind him and a partnership built over that side.

Seen a few Palace fans really quite concerned after their first two games. Many suggesting that they're looking too light as things stand.

I reckon they'll be alright personally, probably dip back into the market in the coming week as well. Thoughts @Alan Whittle ?
Its a good point, they can also spend if they need to. Id expect at least a centre half and midfielder lf some sort, possibly even a striker.

Whereas we might see if franny jeffers is available to.bring his boots down

….anybody with a bet on us to be relegated with PP, paid out with 36 games to go:

Can’t shake the feeling we go down in our last season at Goodison.

We can’t score and our shipping goals for fun. Dire combination.

Promoted teams has assembled a total of one point out of a possible 18.
We may actually stay up this season but it won't be because of us.
The gap between the Championship and Premier League is getting very large

Last season opener was a defeat to Fulham (0-1) followed by a thrashing at Villa (4-0). So a similar start this season. First win last year was in the EFL Cup against Doncaster which was after a further home defeat against Wolves in the PL. Hopefully we can dispatch Doncaster Tuesday and then Bournemouth Saturday which would be a better start to last season. No worries ;)
