I see it differently, Dave.

Moshiri has spent a lot of money at this club and probably wishes he never got involved but he needs to apply the correct structure under him. Most of us will agree that a lot of the appointments have been weak and disorganised. Personally, Moshiri could stay if he structures correctly and allows the governance, roadmap and objectives to be carried out by a new competent leadership team.
My only concern is if he's not only turned the cash taps off but is looking to keep hold of the bulk of cash from sales.

That would put Lampard in a worse position Moyes was in post 2009 fire sale.

Criticism is your word really im just providing a commentary of events to inform self awareness as with everything in life reflection can lead to learning to safegfuard against events. There was evidence throughout out spending and mismanagement that the business couldn't support the purchasing and costs, but everyone was giddy, colluded with and egged it on in addition as a fan group we chased out numerous managers that only added to that, I'm not saying it could be any other way, i understand it, I'm saying we colluded with it in the main and were more then happy with it for a very long time and frankly didn't care, didnt want to see, etc. We have a role and responsibility as well that i think its important we learn from. Now we've gone full circle, we will protest tomorrow rightly or wrongly, but we were also happy to go along with what has happening and spending for a long time up to fairly recently, in truth as a fan group we've gone a full 360, but we need to own our part in it and learn from it for the future.
Don't know too many blues who were giddy at Moshiri going all in to bring planet Ron in as his first manager, followed by target one, buy-at-any-cost Yannick Bolassie. I mean seriously it was underwhelming from day one and that's not hindsight talking. Who was happy with those first few years of cluelessness?

Ancelotti and James yeah those were some giddy times, admittedly. Felt like a meteor strike, tbh, after the dross we'd been seeing.

This is a good post and points.

He will of course gain some grace(limited albeit0 if he really shows that he can shake this club to its very core by implementing a complete restructure, unfortunately I just don't see him doing any of what is necessary.

I fear he may have condemned us already and I thought Johnsons days here were bad. More fool me

That's it really lads will have opinion on different expierces, but as you say its the spirit behind its a great example of Carlo and Jamo and a great description - but its the spirit of overspending and the collusion we had around it, the business could afford to support either really financially, but shows the reckless overspending and how giddy we all got, we wanted to beleive, perhaps despite our better judgement, my point being we did have a role in all that to and now have turned face 360.

Just been advised that Sky will have a camera crew in attendance at the protest gathering tomorrow ?
No surprise there, and one of the resident kopites in the studio to comment no doubt. Just when you thought we couldn't be more of a laughing stock.

We’ll be even more of a laughing stock unless Moshiri either sells up or realises that his faith in a dysfunctional and unfit-for-purpose Board was idiotic, and he replaces the lot of them !!!

They have to be careful the credibility of the support isn't damaged. We've already seen the media laughing their bollocks off at the Pereira OUT! graffiti...for a man who wasn't even employed as our manager; they cant be given another free hit positioning Everton supporters demanding we avoid relegation after two pre-season defeats...which is how they'll spin it.

It's the responsibility of the organisers of that protest tomorrow to make sure they control the narrative and dont allow the media to portray Evertonians as the new Geordies.

It's always going to create a split this but some of the responses on Twitter to the most recent post by the 27 campaign really do shock me.

"Bad timing, it feels like an agenda against Bill and DBB"
Is there anything wrong with this part? Bill SHOULD be gone. He's overseen countless fails on his watch. DBB IS poor in her role. Agenda? Sure, call it what you like, the point is those people need to go. How is Graham Sharp on ANY board? What is he bringing to the table ffs?

But will that realistically happen any time soon?

He could do, but that would be cutting off his nose to spite his face.

If we get relegated he will lose a lot more.

Yeah no doubt Carragher will be buzzing off it, but no matter to me, something needs to be done, against the owners of our club they have to realise not all fans are happy with the way we are being run.

Think he's aware of that already but no chance he's selling or sacking the board any time soon. We all want the same thing, but this isn't the time for more disunity. Do we really want banners at the Chelsea game?

You would hope so. But the calculation might be that we got ourselves in such a pickle last season because the club was at war with itself over the manager; with him gone and unity prevailing then morale will be high enough to see us just get the necessary results with minumum spending. Moshiri would take 16th or 17th if offered right now.
