#27 Years/NSNOW/#AllTogetherNow Fan Campaign

If it's "an open secret" then why not confirm it? Our two historical local rivals have publicly appointed some of the world's biggest financial institutions to broker a sale and we're dealing in ifs, buts and maybes. A sale isn't going to happen quickly. Due diligence takes time, negotiations take time.

If that was the case, we should have made a move this summer with a view to new investors taking over at the end of the 2023/24 season. Presumably he has a timeline and a plan to finance the stadium. Why wouldn't you want your paying customers to know in what direction you're going to take their club?

I would imagine he wants to maximise his profit, easier to sell a built stadium than a blueprint, which it was 2 years ago. I expect to see movement next summer

How am I part of the problem?

I agree something needs to be done and just said so.

It’s precisely this attitude toward fans that has split people.
By sitting on your hands and contemplating differing strategies rather than doing something proactive, even if unsure it's 100% correct.

The state of Everton FC is the opposite of "Time is a great healer." We don't have the luxury of sitting around to wait and see.

We've been on borrowed time for years and people are finally waking up to it Several well intentioned people have been trying their best, pointing things out since the early 2000s when Bill "Saved" Everton.

If my attitude has upset you, that's good. At least it's got your attention on this. Even if it's only fleeting.

Cheers.

Yeah, they should have been shut down when they organised a secret protest (photo opp) at the liver building.

The walk out during the game was a farce. They speak for a few people on the internet, not the majority of the fans.

We need big changes. But them lot saw this as an opportunity to be the big hero for Everton and ran it all in secret.

I'm willing to get behind protests and measures for change, but I can't support those weasels who think they're the biggest Blues cause they've organised a few secrets protests.

Jesus lids.
If it was easy to fix or even fixable it would have happened.
Look how long it took man city to get were they are minus their holy grail.
Bills not shifting until the cord is cut at BM.
We blew our chance when Carlo was at the helm.
Reckon Brands knew the score.

It's been some time since I posted on this forum.
Regarding the #27campaign and the open letter to Farhad Moshiri the single objective is to bring some accountability to the owner and the decisions he has made particularly in his retention of the Chairman and CEO.

The reasons for questioning his decision making in this regard are self evident. Underperforming on the pitch to the point our Premier League survival is no longer guaranteed and off pitch performance that would be tolerated by few if any shareholders in normal business circumstances.

I understand not every Blue will agree with the substance nor the approach of this campaign. That's fine particularly as we've never claimed to represent all Evertonians.

What we do represent though is a group of people determined to hold the owner, board and executive to account and seek changes which will see the club improve both on and of the pitch.

That, I believe, is a perfectly rational and normal reaction to seeing the club you love, and in many cases have generations of one's own family supporting the club, failing to address issues which threaten our existence as a top flight club let alone a club competing for trophies.

I totally agree with the sentiments behind the campaign but I feel the fan base is irrevocably split over the issue of Kenwright. I, personally, hold him responsible for virtually all of our current ills. BK has been a disaster for this club. He has been happy to dumb down expectations for almost 2 decades. However, others see him as a true blue and the match going response towards him is a totally different one to what you read on the internet. Sadly, with the current ownership and board in charge, I’ve given up on Everton operating as a serious football club and now just treat it for what it is - an excuse for a day out with my lads and something to watch on the tv every now and again. No point getting worked up about it any more. The only ambition for this club is to stay up and make up the numbers. I’ll start panicking again in April and hope we somehow pull ourselves out of it and then switch off again til next season.

Yep, I was all for the walkout - got involved - as well as a few other things when it appeared good people were on board and leading the charge

Gotten very weird after that with the secret protests, briefing select journalists instead of all, and demanding communication from the club despite not being open to speaking with them/accepting when the club are communicating.

Why not consult the fans on what you're going to do before a small section of you go ahead and decide for us the best way to push for change?

"Never claimed to reprsent all Evertonians" - but prepared to lobby for major changes that will affect the cub we all love and support? Pure naff mate

I was 100% the same.

It's as much an exercise in flexing how they're the real blues saving the fanbase as it is pushing for change at the top.

Shame really as every single fan can see that this board is incompetent and in dire need of binning - it's something all of us can get behind. It's just a real pity they decided to form a little secret society that further splits a disenchanted fanbase.

Would also appreciate match-going fans being the ones leading things too. The ones who deal with it every day/week.

Not folks playing puppetmaster in the States and further afield
