Resigning would be giving up more than any other course of action.

We know that Moshiri has absolute control of the club.
We don't know how much influence Bill Kenwright, DBB and the rest of the board have on Moshiri. It would appear for instance that the appointment of RB was a complete solo run.

If they believe Moshiri is flawed in his decision making then by staying inside the tent they may have some influence in his decision making whereas if they resign and leave then goodness knows who will advise him then.

Is it better to be inside the tent peeing out rather than outside the tent peeing in ?

I have no idea who the decision makers are at the club, I do know we are at a perilous position where any more missteps could ruin the club.
I think Bill Kenwright is shrewd, I think a lot of the decisions in recent years he would not have agreed with. I am saying this on the way the club was run before Moshiri took control..... but that is just my opinion.

Mayonnaise on a roast, though.

disagree to a certain extent, ok some fans will moan no matter what, but a lot of fans now imo act like they support Sunderland or Norwich the best we can hope for is getting a promotion every few years, with us it’s a cup semi at Wembley or maybe 7th and a few days out across Europe, some fans have accepted that’s what we’re now.

The mentality from the top has filtered down. 7th seen as success,
Bringing a DVD out. Telling the fans we’ve had good times. Maybe we didn’t always win in the 60’s or 70’s but we were seen as a big club that should be challenging every season, that’s gone and one man has played a big part in that.

years ago our owner sacked a manager for finishing 4th, now we put his face up on goodison for finishing 5th
I just think that's a simplistic way of looking at it to be honest. The game has changed, the days of finishing 14th one season and then recruiting well and winning the league the following year have gone. There's a cartel in place, and we're on the outside looking in. I'm not saying that isn't Kenwright's fault to some extent by the way, but the simple reality is that we're not at the top table anymore, and just cryarsing that we should be doesn't actually change that fact. Your use of Sunderland as an example kind of illustrates what i'm talking about; for the first 50 years or so of our existence they were more successful than us, but because it was a long time ago you don't think they should be seen as a big club. That's totally understandable, just as it is for fans who are pretty much anything under 40 and have never seen us finish higher than 4th to believe that getting to Wembley or finishing top 6 is acceptable.

I despise the Everton board I really do. Kenwright has been nothing short of a conman blagging his way through the last 20 odd years. Baxendale has done nothing to suggest she's good enough for the job.

But Moshiri is the loose cannon so it doesn't matter who is on the board. This fella has hired 2 of the worst managers in living memory in Allardyce and Benitez. Forget the stadium for a second because that's really why any campaign won't go for the jugular. But for all demanding a new board and Kenwright and Baxendale to be sacked, its laughable that anyone thinks Moshiri will engage and even if he did that they'd take his word. The man is an absolute fruit loop who has embarrassed this club with his shoddy running, bizarre comments, failure to replace board members with competent people but most importantly, hiring the type of manager (twice) that if we had gone down, we wouldn't have been coming back up for a very long time.

The problem starts from the very top at Everton and that trickles its way down through the whole club.

I agree to an extent.
I just feel that Kenwright has been chair for so long that he's built the whole structure so as to be untouchable.
I don't know what the solution is but there has to be better options out there to run the club than Bill Kenwright.
His tenure was stale 20 years ago, it's rancid now.
I feel a bit more sorry for DBB in all of this, as far as I can see, she seems to be doing alright.

But kenwright has been around for 25 of those 40yrs,
Maybe we’ve missed the boat, but things can changed quickly IE Newcastle, if you believe the rumours City’s owners wanted us.

I know Sunderland have been a big club,
Still our really with their fan base, but haven’t had much success in a long time,
The difference with us is 30yrs ago when the prem stated and sky got involved,
We were still seen as one of the big 5 only Liverpool had more titles. I believe we missed the boat because of the owner and board we’ve had, is it to late, who knows Hopefully the new ground will be a game changer. And could have been 20yrs ago at the kings dock, when all them 40yrs olds would have been 20.

That’s all true,
But Bill was sitting at the top for 17yrs and it was him who picked Moshiri

Plenty of stuff happened back then, most of which were outside our control. The European ban decimated our best side ever, Ferguson got United going, Blackburn etc. The Kings Dock may or may not have happened/been great, but however its viewed, Everton mucked up the move from being a Football Club to being a Football Club in the ITV/Sky/Era that came quick and fast.

As I said, I’m not saying Kenwright isn’t to blame for the situation to some extent at least. I’m just saying that at some point you just have to accept that this is how things are now (not in the sense that you have to be happy about it or that you don’t want it to change, but just that if this is all you’ve ever known then of course you become accustomed to it). We are a traditionally big club, but our longest run of consecutive top 8 finishes is 9. Our second longest is 8, which came under kenwright. You said earlier that we were always up there in the 60s and 70s but clearly we weren’t. Just had a quick look and we were outside the top 10 6 times in that period.
