#27 Years/NSNOW/#AllTogetherNow Fan Campaign

there were plenty of buyers for premier league clubs.
Bill needed a buyer who'd let him stay on as chair and Moshiri/Usmanov obliged.
Probably, but the sad fact is that the club is only a means to an end for Moshiri, this has always been about BMD and the money to be made from that imo.

I remember thinking around March last season, if we do go down, at least that will be the end of Kenwright.
But now, as our situation is every bit as perilous, I actually think even relegation won't rid the club of him.

"Who knows this club better than me? It's time for the blue family to stick together, it's darkest before the dawn and the new stadium is our dawn, nobody loves this club more than me". Some fans protest at home to huddersfield and others get on their back for causing trouble.

That situation is a very realistic possibility thanks to a generation of mismanagement.

As I said, I’m not saying Kenwright isn’t to blame for the situation to some extent at least. I’m just saying that at some point you just have to accept that this is how things are now (not in the sense that you have to be happy about it or that you don’t want it to change, but just that if this is all you’ve ever known then of course you become accustomed to it). We are a traditionally big club, but our longest run of consecutive top 8 finishes is 9. Our second longest is 8, which came under kenwright. You said earlier that we were always up there in the 60s and 70s but clearly we weren’t. Just had a quick look and we were outside the top 10 6 times in that period.
But I Stijl think we were seen as one of Englands top clubs, and we could/should have won the title a couple of times, the game was different then in the 70’s in terms of challenging
Arsenal won only one title in the 70’s and spurs and Utd both got relegated in that decade

I don't doubt that for a minute, same with every other buyer.
The moneys way to big for sentementaltiy
The moneys also way to bit to have a deluded theatre producer as your chairman.
Moshiri did the risk analysis and bought in with the conditions.
All bills christmases came at the same time

Why do I get the feeling you are related to the esk and his podcast somehow. Even the way you speak is materially the same with your last shilling business.

Blind faith in one fallible individual is never a good thing.

Id love to have the time to record podcasts etc but alas I am a working man and have a busy family life.

Nevertheless, since when was communicating with intellect and discourse suddenly something which made me part of the 27 campaign?

Your obsession with him knows no bounds.

Someone has done it on here in the last hour. Certainly some of the twitter accounts which are aligned with the campaign have gone down that route at times, although i'm sure that the campaign's own account hasn't if you're trying to claim that as a distinction.

Show me mate.

Who will we be asking him to sack next?

When Moshiri bought the club he should have insisted on 100% of it and sacked everyone and brought in a team of people to transform the club. Instead he half assed it (literally) and has been chipping away at that percentage while slowly getting rid. I think that’s been one of the monumental mistakes here, and is most of the reason we are where we are today.

Ideally Moshiri would sell us and new owners would take that approach and run the club properly and like a modern club needs to be run. That means of course taking into account the fans for certain decisions but when it comes to selecting or sacking managers the owner should never listen to the mob. I have always been very suspicious of owners that listen to the mob, keeping fans appeased is the hallmark of a let’s say a poor owner.

Likewise here, if Moshiri wants Kenright and it appears he does, he should ignore the mob. But he already appointed a manager to keep the mob quiet so maybe he will do as they ask again. We would be better run using the toss of a coin for decisions.

what is he saying that you disagree with? I mean the open letter addresses all the issues the club faces because of years and years of mismanagement , if you cant see that by the clubs performances over the last 28 years then that's your hang up, the club needs new proper owners not some egotistical maniacs play thing, what was the strategic review about? premier league ever present + billionaire takeover = no trophies/relegation battles, dont need sherlock holmes for this one to see whos to blame

Some people support it, fair enough.

Personally, if it was a real movement/protest, why doesn't the esk come out publicly to hold a consultation for the fans? Instead of, you know, being a ridiculous embarrassment in every thing he's done.

It absolutely stinks.

Why would you do that? You said it was on here mate.

Getting your story mixed up now.
Oh that. That’s here mate, how embarrassing for you.
But that's the problem.

Better to do something instead of sitting around trying to formulate the perfect strategy for the next 5/10/28 years.

No fan led campaign has universal support, but it's quite sad that those who stick their heads above the parapet have to fend of slings and arrows from apathetic Evertonians as well as members of staff loyal to Kim Jung-Bill.

If you're not voicing your displeasure at the current state of Everton (and pointing out the ongoing failings of those in charge to other supporters) you're part of the problem.

We're in this mess because protest is shouted down as 'Kopite' behaviour. I'd take that over our current slow death.
