2nd test Everton Under-21s V Bolton Wanderers B

Most large stadiums I've been to are quite difficult to get to and from.

Like even Wembley can take forever to get a train away from. Its just not straightforward to get large crowds to and from events. I remember it took me about 2 hours to get back to Lyon at a game in euro 16.

Making sure it's as safe as possible for BMD is obviously number 1 priority. Making it as quick and smooth as possible comes next but its probably going to take time to get it right.
Wembley is horrendous logistically.

I think the travelling to and from the stadium is being overblown a bit.

Lansdowne Rd has a train station beside it and it still takes ages to leave after a match.

Croke Park holds 80,000 and the nearest train station is a good 20-25 walk. You can't park anywhere near either stadium to any great degree. Most people have a favourite pub they go to before or after and the rest just stroll back into town etc ( another 15-20) walk.

Everyone will find an equilibrium after a couple of games.

…the safety aspect would be the concern for me. The platforms were build with little or no traffic in mind and have not been upgraded to deal with such an influx of passengers. People being crushed or even spilling onto the track has to be a possibility looking at the pics.

Dreadful foresight from the council.

Is widening of the platforms out of question?

And some will likely forget we've moved and still go to Goodison.

I said that earlier and got an unsure from @davek most big grounds have challenges to get to people will figure it out quickly. Maybe if people are comparing it to Goodison that was very easy to get to then they will be disappointed.
