You've got to be looking at the Ukranian lad on a free, though I'm sure in agents fees etc it'd cost us a few bob due to competition he would be worth it.

Mirallas will leave, and though I'm seeing shouts of £15m nobody will give us that for a player with a year left. Be lucky to get £10m which id take so we can fund a replacement. Dunno who, we could do better and worse than Lennon for sure. Would love Gerry to return.

New centre back, that Virgil fella at Celtic gets rave reviews. Alcaraz will get a new deal.

Go for Ings on a free, and then we're all covered up front.

Yarmolenko. Thought he was good against us last week and would fill the hole left by Pienaar. Hope he plays turd this Thursday tho obvs
 
I'd buy someone who refuses to smile on pictures. Apparently, those players turn to beasts once they get to wear blue kit for the first time.

I'd argue we need creativity all over midfield. We have three creative players Gibson Osman and Pienaar. Two of them are never fit and Osman is getting older. We need a player who can sit deep and control the tempo by passing. Two creative wide players (not senseless wingers) and probably a number 10. Instead we have wingers who can't do much but run in a straight line and we have crab like centre mids who haven't got the passing to find them all behind a box to box runner bogged down as a number 10.

Sadly they are the hardest players to find. Moyes struck gold with Arteta and Pienaar for 2 mill each and Osman through the academy. Will cost a lot to replace them.

agree with that mate. just think with the possession style Martinez favors we need that clever player who can unlock the defense and I can't see us buying 3 creative types when we have other needs

Definitely £15m then if that's the case. Find it hard to think of 'top' teams who would spend that on him. Arsenal? Probably not getting first team. Atletico? Not pushing Griezmann or Turan out. He'd be better off staying, especially as the most likely move looks like a sideways one to Spurs.
