And i'll say one thing, we certainly didn't look tired today. We ran City off the park in the first half, easily the best team performance in terms of effort and drive that i've seen since the start of the season.

To me it's about attitude. Lots of other teams get battered like we did last week and lots of other teams have overpaid players who don't look like they give a sh"t. Our season was about how we came back today. Moyes got it right, made them all watch the full 90 minutes of last week n it must have hurt. You could see it in all of them - how often do you see Pienaar putting it about, with the attitude he had today, Coleman running like he did today. And we battered City. We looked far, far better. If we go into the next four games like we went into today - then IMHO 4th is very, very possible

"All" was the wrong word I guess. Quite a few on here were predicting a complete collapse in the run-in after Wigan though. Indeed, people were looking at the same fixture list with dread:

Need to be in title winning form to achieve Europe really. Koff Everton.

Another defeat, our season is over, we are on an alarming run of form. I can see Arsenal and the ****e running away into the distance leaving us fighting for 7th or 8th.

Someone posted a thread about the amount of points we will get towards the end of the season, TBH cant see us getting another 12 points let alone 20 odd we need to get 4th or 5th.

Feels like the season is over, we have no chance in finishing 4th or 5th, and slim for 6th,

I want nothing other than to see Barkely play. Not even kidding either, the season is over, I just want to see how good he really is.

Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with a few of the above either. I think we'll finish 6th, but if we beat Stoke I'll revise how I feel about things.

All I'm sure about is that I saw a thread exactly like this on RAWK last week after they beat Spurs and laughed. I'm not calling anyone a Kopite by saying that, I'm just stating what I saw and what I did, and their result this week could easily be us against Stoke in a fortnight.

In the unlikely event that Fulham win at White Hart Lane tomorrow we'll be 6 points behind them with a game in hand and we'll still need to play them ourselves. It will be very difficult, but it's too early to write us off for the European places.

Shame about the suspensions. One game at a time. Stoke will be difficult without Pienaar and Felli.

could be a blessing in disguise without felli tbh. he got wound up against them last time and without him hopefully we'll keep the ball on the deck more and outplay them that way

It's in our hands, that's all we can ask for. If we didn't have any of those teams to play then we could win all our games and still fall short. The fact we have all of them to play is better than not in a way.

spurs are a better away team than home team. we can definitely beat the rs as well. just need to make sure we win our home games to have a chance

I think it would be ludicrous to suggest we can win the league, but second place is definitely a possibility.

(hmmm, feel like I have lifted this from someone else).

Last game away at Chelsea could be interesting if they get to the FA Cup and Europa League Finals which are both the week before.
