Based on my maths...

A 20m over spend is four points plus six is ten. Which we got.

They didn't take it into account as it would 'limit the powers of the Commission'. It was taken into consideration as a submission but nothing more.

The IC went with a 10-point deduction but does not explain why at all. Everton should be contesting this.

That doesn't mean you don't aim for 40. As I said, you ALWAYS plan/aim for worst case. Because then if you fall short/or it doesn't hit worst case, you're still alright.

You can be damn sure Dyche will be looking at 40 points.
