If we had a salary cap players would leave, which is what happened to the Italian teams when they stopped financial doping. Personally I'd welcome this but the Premier League wouldn't.

There is a risk but the so cold big 6 are a relatively new thing Spurs Chelsea Man City they can all be replaced just like we have been by them clubs. Spurs even have a cheek to claim they are part of the so called big 6. Who was the big clubs when the premier league started in 92 Liverpool Arsenal Everton Manchester United. I hate to say it but it’s losing Manchester United and liverpool that’s the real risk. And if that could be engineered, I'd love to see it. However, to be able to do it, 86 clubs need to say to the "Big 6", we have had enough and we are going to take our chances of playing elsewhere. And we know they won't because of the risk in doing so.

OK... so let's introduce a cap on transfer spending. You can't do it on wages as it would be unlawful. So essentially wages would go up significantly to entice players.
I agree that certain clubs aren't going to agree.

U.S.-style salary cap would fail in Europe's top soccer leagues. Here's why
The global pandemic has European soccer talking about a salary cap, but Gab Marcotti argues that there's more realistic ways to control costs.www.espn.com
What gets me is why are 14 clubs agreeing to that when the premier league votes on that. Surely they know it works totally to their own detrimentTheir priorities writ large.

The worst case scenario is getting sued for 1 hundred million. Only one team could even be argued to have suffered relegation at our hands.Worse case scenario and everton get sued for 3 hundred million what happens to the women's team, what happens to everton in the community and all the charities they help. So many people will suffer. People may actually die because of the corrupt biased premiership
