6 + 2 Point Deductions

What do you think Europe is, my friend?

We’re in it and will always be in it.

The link you posted to defend whatever deranged point you think you’re making even says so:

To think people accuse Brexiters of not understanding what they voted for.
Just to clarify, although I'm sure this will also cause mass amusement/abuse, i realise that the point i was making has not come across as i intended to. Firstly i apologise if you (thats anybody) think I've been trying to be a smart arse or whatever but i was only trying to make a very basic point about the difference between the PSR problems faced in the premier league and the FFP regulations in UEFA competition and that just because city won their case it didn't necessarily mean the spending floodgates would open. I realise my use of the term Europe when i really just meant EU has caused a lot of confusion and for this i also apologise, i can assure you that i did not vote for brexit which is actually the worst thing people have said about me on this thread. I may have been hamfisted about trying to explain myself and realise that doing so when I've had too much ale is probably not a good idea. Oh and finally i do know that we are in Europe, and enjoy the rest of the non-football weekend gents/ladies.

Sorry lads really can't let this bull lie. You lot really actually think that we as a country are part of Europe? Seriously after all the brexit means brexit tripe of the last few years. We have no governance over Europe likewise they have no governance over us. We are part of UEFA wrt to football governance (as i previously stated) which could very easily be changed if they wanted to ....see our ban in the 80's amongst many others. Any other doubters have a quick read of this, it may be wiki but it's accurate for once. I'll say it again though England is definitely not in Europe just ask your MEP.

The thing is this all started by me saying that the floodgates on spending will not have opened because of the city case victory because they have to still fit in with European football spending regulations which i didn't think was too difficult a scenario to grasp obviously it was.
Love that you’ve linked the wiki page that has a map of the UK ‘in Europe’.

What an absolutely mad take.

Yeah I mean let’s look at the facts shall we?

Geographically, we are European. Whether we are a member of a trade block or not* doesn’t change plate tectonics or the previous effects of glaciation last time I checked. I am though always puzzled over why we were never considered Scandinavian as we’re between all the Scandinavian countries, and were ruled by Denmark for a long time (Danelaw).

Now gang if we could revert to topic and that, I’m assuming we won’t have any more points deductions, is that correct?

*I voted remain fwiw

I see Mendy just won his case against City. Does this confirm that the rats at the PL were asking us to do something illegal in regards to Gylfi?

What has the judge said in Mendy employment tribunal ruling?

Benjamin Mendy will receive "the majority of his unpaid salary" from Manchester City, a judge has ruled.

"The fact that Mr Mendy’s contract contained no provision permitting the club to withhold wages where an FA suspension and/or bail conditions prevented the player from performing his obligations was an important part of the reason for this decision," a summary judgement said.

"The result of this decision is that Mr Mendy will be entitled to receive the majority of his unpaid salary, although not all of it."

Mendy's basic wage at Manchester City was £6m a year.

In the judgement of the case, the judge added: "I found that Mr Mendy was 'ready and willing' to work during the non-custody periods, and was prevented from doing so by impediments (the FA suspension and bail conditions) which were unavoidable or involuntary on his part.

"In those circumstances, and absent any authorisation in the contract for the employer to withhold pay, he was entitled to be paid."
