People arguing Luton are down last week...completley ignoring their form and the very decent defensive set up they have.

We'll need our best season in years to get ahead them.

Some people fell for the PL client media's BS about "they''ll be ok even with a 10 point deduction".


This is a MOUNTAIN to climb.

If we get beat by United and Forest next week and Luton get a win at Brentford to get 8 points ahead of us the panic will set in big time amongst our fans and the players will react...and this is all without factoring in the inevitable injures we're due.
 
A few peeps and some melons from other clubs seem to be missing the point about the banners at PL hq and on the brick or anywhere else for that matter, including the bridge over the M62 at Huyton.

This battle won’t be won on the usual channels (sky and TNT) - they are gonna censor us every step of the way, gotta protect the product/brand.

We will need to use every other means possible to get the message out and keep it going - X, Insta, Facebook, Carrie pigeon.

Whatever we do it’s needs to go viral or be spammed to death.

That’s why the Brick has got a massive banner on it.

We need to challenge that narrative at every opportunity.

10 points could be difference between about 18th and 10th in a really tight season !! 10 points is an outrageous penalty and can't be accepted.

We need to stop that narrative right now - it's being said by people who want us to shut up and roll over and accept our ridiculous punishment. Our fans need to not be sucked in by it, because it's a total nonsense narrative.

I think the deduction would have given most down there a boost.

And too many people assuming we'd get a boost in defiance. But the opposite is as likely to happen. Heads could drop especially if Luton go on a run.

If we do that we send out a signal we're really in this scramble to get away from the bottom...for the second time.

A loss or even a draw will put us right under.

That 10 point deduction is an incredibly difficult deficit to make back up. We need an appeal to get us 4 points knocked off minimum.

Not quite sure of that, the amount of luck they had today, in the 1st half and late on, i think they will think they got out of jail in a way getting those 3points. I dont see them winning week after week or even getting the amount some think

TBF, that Burnley and Sheff Utd pathetically failed to grasp their chances today sort of underlines they won't be getting out of this. But Luton - even before this win today - we're obviously getting a feel for this league and they will be a tough team to pull back even 5 points from now.

They’ve spawned wins against us and again today, they aren’t very good at all, won’t keep getting spawny wins.

It was always a propaganda tool. The fact that so many fell for it is dismal tbh.

That Luton win today will shut that stupid 'kin argument down for good.
