When you commit almost £40m to Beto and Chermiti you deserve to be deducted points tbh.

Which in itself is evidence the league can't regulate itself. The PL have said that they bought forward a motion about creating standard sanctions for a breach of P&S and it was voted against by all clubs.
Appeals on harshness of the sentence happen all the time. who knows what we admitted.. could have been as simple asI don't think it can be overturned as we stupidly admitted our guilt so we have to face a penalty.
The points deduction could be added to - 12 points as the PL wanted
The points deduction could remain the same - 10 points - the appeal case finds we have no argument.
The points deduction could be reduced - The appeal finds we have some grounds that the amount of points was too harsh.
The points deduction could be wiped out - Very unlikely and they fine our "wealthy" owner. And when they say "owner" they mean the club.
Supposedly voted against it so commissions could exercise flexibility based on cooperation, mitigating circumstances, and I guess deliberate breaches versus stupid/lazy breaches.I thought it was a standard sanction? That would explain why absolutely everyone voted against it.
Prehaps the teams voted against it because they no longer want it to be sanctioned.Which in itself is evidence the league can't regulate itself.
As much as I agree, I do think if we had had the physical cash to buy a striker I don't think either player would have been on the radar imo. When you commit almost £40m to Beto and Chermiti you deserve to be deducted points tbh.
lol lol lol
Marvellous. So we need these most recent accounts to be £20m better in terms of PSR calculated loss compared to the year that drops out of the calculation. You would hope that’s not an issue given the recent austerity and that oldest period that drops off was presumably a thumping loss?

A story about process and nothing else. Just means they have quickened it so clubs are punished for breaches in the next season rather than two down the line.
Everton are the headline but it applies to everyone and all clubs COULD still receive a PSR sanction this season.
Far as I’m aware it’s 18/19 that drops off in the latest calculation and from memory that was 100m plus loss (and pre Covid deductions) so it’s the biggest culprit.Marvellous.
