Agree they don't deserve a penny, their teans were simply, somehow worse than ours.

I think I am right in saying that the sanction of the 10 point penalty applies in our case only, and the formula used to calculate it will not necessarily be applied in future cases brought by the PL, others may have a better understanding of it than me!

I have a feeling that they will keep our 10 point deduction and then when we escape, anyway, gives us the ten points back based on our arguements and then quietly drop all charges against big clubs

The more I think about the more it's just going to be reduced to -6 and the usual gobshyts (Souness, Keane etc) will say we should be 'grateful' for their leniency.

The PL changed the rules about the stadium midway through proceedings. We should not be docked a single point, but if the PL is as much of a Qatari / Saudi PIF dictator puppet as we rightly suspect they are, then -6 is (though extremely unjust) something of a result.

Whole thing stinks. If relegation didn't endanger our entire existence and/or our occupation of the stadium, I'd not care a jot about going to the Champ for a squad reboot.

Sure we've been in the top flight for 70 years. But we've been irrelevant and 'off brand' for about half that time.

In the adjudication for us, it was 6 points for guilty and then 1 point per £5M rounded up.

so 80 guilty charges is 480 point deduction plus the penalties added.

Nope. That’s the format that the PL put to the commission and wanted to them to use.

The commission rejected it and didn’t follow it.

And then decided on 10 points anyway but didn’t share how they got to 10 points.
