The reason the model is based on the clubs staying in their respective leagues as well as the ESL is so that the elite have a double revenue stream who will enable them to get richer but still allowing two new clubs to join each year to be relegated.

this promotion and relegation makes it competitive in their eyes.

if they want an ESL let them have it, but at the cost of premiership membership.

If this ESL happens without premiership expulsion I will be done with it and a think more than a few may follow.

It’s all well and good various scab 6 saying they won’t participate, but didn’t the organisers say they were contractually obligated to it on some way or other and had penalties associated with bailing out?
It’s one thing to say they’re out when it had questionable standing in EPL / FIFA / UEFA to do it, but if this ruling puts that to bed, where does that leave them?
