And we’re the perfect club to make an example of - probably the biggest non cartel club - punitive punishment makes sure the other clubs follow the rules.

I think we will be alright we have got a lot of the big wages out of the way,
The problem is that if other clubs fall foul, rumours of forest, wolves ect , Chelsea are certs, you are going into a situation were the league will finish.
The clubs will go before the Premier league panel in May
And nobody will know who is what position in the league they are, or does it go to next season unlike us?
if say two clubs get pionts deducted and go down do they get relegated for that season ?
Before they can appeal.
they have hit us with an immediate penalty so have set a president.
Basically because of there actions with us the Premier league is in a position were they will effectively decide who is in the prem next year in a room instead of on the pitch.
Super Sunday would be interesting teams all playing winning and losing not knowing if it matters or not.

I think the Premier League has opened a can of worms that it may regret opening, if you ask me. Could potentially harm the competition, not that it's competitive anymore outside a handful of teams.

Suppose they now have to punish them then they appeal as they have done to us?
Thats the way they have treated us so its now the normal process surely.
If not its just a witch hunt agaist Everton.
Problem is they would be in a different division by the time the appeal came about.
If the club won an appeal do they go back in the prem and some other club goes down its madness.

Not sure about this. Some freaks and kids on social media did yeah, but the consensus from what I’ve experienced in the real world was that it was completely absurd.

True that. Newcastle, Man United and Chelsea fans I work with who aren’t twitter virgins thought it was shocking and that it was wrong.

Even my mates who are Kopites think it’s a disgrace.

The fact the Newcastle and Villa who are challenging near the top have to sell should be enough to set the alarms ringing for those who did, because it might be their club next if they don’t support the cartel at the top.
