6 + 2 Point Deductions

Correct, the new Chelsea ownership came clean to the PL and UEFA when they discovered "holes" in their accounts. Paying Chelsea costs with external companies, let`s not beat about the bush, this is as serious FFP/PSR breach as you can get and it was done to specifically and very much intentionally to get around PSR.

UEFA let them off due lightly as they can`t go back beyond 3/5 years, can`t remember off the top of my head BUT still got fined. The PL can go back as far as they want but have yet to sanction or even charge the club with anything, unless this will come tomorrow when all the breaches are referred but I think they will get away with it. Swept under the carpet, they are part of the cartel....

From what has been reported the years in question are 2012-2019 and yes UEFA have limitations.

There weren’t “ holes in the accounts “ all sums paid by Chelsea are reflected in the numbers the allegations appear to be that sums paid to third parties who did business with Chelsea weren’t paid infull by the club.

The PL version P&S wasn’t the Issue for many if indeed any those years but they, the PL were in effect agents for UEFa in that licences to play in European competition are issued by the domestic associations.

As for it being done to get around FFP maybe but that’s already been assessed and sanctioned by UEFA so the PLs remit or should I say options, would almost certainly be around submission of incorrect information much like Cities charges.

The external companies that are said to paid theses sums are rumoured to be linked to Abromavich but it gets particularly complicated for a variety of reasons if for no other than RA isn’t saying a thing and again from what’s reported the information was uncovered during DD and has been self reported.

Now the inconvenience of actual footy is out of the way, what was the new development Burnham said would make it worth going to the FAB meeting?
Just three people who were influential and now aren't are taking his side in some parliamentary meeting tomorrow.

Amongst them is the former Bank of England governor Mark Carney, who sounds exactly like the sort of guy who would have dinner with Richard Masters. Maybe that's the plan... just get Masters bevvied (half a babycham should do it by the looks of him) and convince him to sign a statement that gives Everton 15 points.... an extra five for causing undue distress.
