Yeah based on 18-19 dropping off I believe we should be under the 105 number but while I don’t fully understand this secure funding rule it seems to be the thing to worry about.

The more technical it all gets the more laughable it is to take points away.

Well we did have secure funding until the UK government, completely nothing to do with the football club, decided that Russians were bad and needed exterminating.

We did but our wage bill was still way to high at that point and the spending had no plan and we were giving stupid contracts to average rubbish, we were always heading for a fall imo.

So rules that are supposed to be to ensure clubs are run sustainably can be failed and result in punishment violently if you aren’t borrowing sustainably. Thats . And no doubt it’s true. Feels like a red card and 20 match ban for tripping yourself up and breaking your own leg.

This is exactly the type of things that Super Silk would be all over if and when it's appealed to the highest courts.

There again, didn't we voluntarily cut ties with any Usmanov-linked companies like USM?

Maybe would have been better to see if it would have been forced on us instead.

In any case we were, naturally, hit hardest from any club due to the war and no surprise we couldn't recoup the same kind of deals in the economy after that.
