6 + 2 Point Deductions

It's apparently because they just sell all their assets to connected companies. A couple of hotels and the whole women's team so far. Interesting to see what happens when they run out of things to sell...
They were partly copying straight from Blue Bill`s book of how not to run a football club. Difference is Blue bill flogged our assets to stay in control of things, where Chelsea are doing it to pump money into the club.

I just don't get it, and I don't blame Chelsea at all as they know the loophole works and have exploited it twice now. Why haven't other teams clocked on? If you're somebody like Villa or Newcastle knocking on the top 4's door, you sell something for £300m and voilà you can go on a spending rampage to ensure you are challenging for the title next season. Why aren't other clubs doing the same as Chelsea?
We should be doing this, we could easily make a couple billion auctioning off Goodison seats on ebay to phantom bidders driving the price up against each other and it's all legit!

Can we do a Chelsea and sell Goodison to the women's team for half or even a billion £'s ?
Or start building the women`s team up to be at the top of the women`s game and be in pole position to milk the money out of the game before other clubs get rolling that direction. The women`s team having their own stand alone home ground that has an attachment to the history of our club, something most other clubs don`t have for their women`s team.

Sell Goodison to a TFG company that then rents it out to the women’s team.

In the past, people have been unenthusiastic about the value of the land where Goodison is located. However, that’s with a view to knocking the stadium down as it would no longer be utilised in that way.

But if it continues to be used as a soccer stadium, then it retains the value of a soccer stadium. And the truth is that Goodison Park remains a Premier League standard ground, and therefore has significant value in the money mad world of ‘soccer’.

We should not underestimate the value of Goodison Park!

The connected company will sell them back at a steep discount allowing them to sell again att market value

I just don't see how there is any case to answer, when things outside of transfers pushed us to the 19.5 million over spend... If there was no war then Uzzy's blag sponsorship would have seen us compliant.
Or the sale of a player that became unsaleable because of an off the field allegation which would have seen us compliant.

So many mitigations that we should have gone to the courts to fight it if we'd had a board with a backbone.

Goodison Park to the rescue yet again!

They’re just taking the absolute piss now and have done for some time with their other ‘creative’ financial solutions, players on eight year contracts (which have been clamped down on now), then hotels, now the women’s teams. Ridiculous and makes a farce of all the regulations which we knew anyway.

UEFA are already investigating these results mate - i suspect the PL are waiting to see if they have to do something if UEFA do = politically i doubt they want to.
