The people who 777 owe money to, want to buy us at a discount of the price of the monies owed to them by Moshiri.

They then are offering to finance us as a going concern.

That’s pretty much what the article says I think.

Farhad Moshiri is listening to 2 rival bids to enter exclusive talks to purchase Everton. One bid being from Andy Bell and George Downing, the other bid being MSP Sports Capital

A separate proposal has been put forward to Moshiri by A-Cap, which has offered to refinance all of Everton’s existing debt and take a minority equity position.

However, that would mean Moshiri would retain a majority stake, which he is no longer thought to want.

It was set up nearly a month ago and only Andy Bell is a director. Think people are making something out of nothing. But i could be wrong !

Given the football landscape are these gentleman the kind of people who will have what it takes and have the capital to make the club compete at the top ?

I don’t want another situation where excuses are made because they are Everton fans and they are not as bad as Moshiri. Basically another “punching above our weight” culture . I don’t think I could handle anymore of that.

Would Bell and Downing even have enough funds to takeover? From looking them up they have a net worth of half a billion or so between them but of course that could be off the mark too
