All very odd isn’t it? Did Bobble not suggest that the creditors were satisfied with the deal? Not having a pop by the way, just wondering if these are conflicting sources or whatever?

I thought my credit card repayments were bad never mind £600k a week lol
He said R&M were happy with it. Not said anything about MSP being happy, so it sounds like they are the potential blockage.

It's crazy all these conflicting interests having a say - R&M vetoed MSP so MSP loaned us some cash instead of their investment, now they have a say to block 777.

At some point the lenders have to realise that Moshiri has us on a path to insolvency and if that happens they don't get their money back. They can't go on vetoing new investors forever, even if it's ones they don't like.

I was under the impression that the 500 millions plus deal included the full repayment of our loans including the one with msp...so not sure why the creditors would have any objections. I guess the only objection is that it will stop them making millions on interest rates as they are doing now.
The loan will have a settlement figure- so if it’s paid off in full there will be a charge in lieu of the interest that would have been earned in repayments over time. The bigger concern is that it’s becoming increasingly clear that 777 just do not have the money required to not only complete the takeover, but actually invest the money required to make Everton a successful football team.

Jim Ratcliffe or the Qataris could spend a fraction of what they were going to spend on Man Utd and buy Everton, wipe out debt and pay for the stadium. Hopefully someone of that level of wealth sees some potential in Everton. It would appeal to their ego that they would be associated with moving to a prime location ground and re-establish a sleeping giant. Probably highly unlikely but we can dream!
It is pretty disappointing that we have so little appeal as to be able to attract someone even half decent.

Perhaps they are aware of how often and how habitually this group renege on debts or fail to pay monies owed ? And are consequently unsure they will receive their money back at all.

I am disappointed by this whole episode. Disappointed that the best offer we have is from a firm with
bad PR, shallow pockets and no obvious strategy, disappointed that our valuation
is so far from Man. Utd's and is so cheap. Also disappointed that Moshiri is happy to accept a big loss
so long as he gets out.

Hard to see how EFC can challenge Newcastle, City and the top table now.

It'll take a similar takeover. Moshiri/Usmanov certainly poured the money in but it was thrown away.

It'll be an attractive club for investors once we're in the new stadium but the problem is financing it now Usmanov's money has gone.

I wonder if there's a game being played here. R&M vetoed the MSP deal so now MSP have become creditors and can also seemingly veto any future deals- they've bought themselves a seat at the table.

MSP then veto 777, and if they just keep vetoing other buyers eventually the only option for R&M will be to go back and approve MSP, since under Moshiri they risk getting none of their money back.

No the fans obviously aren’t accountable for the financial mismanagement - but there are areas within their control around things like expectations and putting pressure on

It’s an elephant in the room that hasn’t been fully addressed - there have been times when fan pressure has contributed to manager sackings, which in turn has contributed to transfer strategy not being joined up

And forcing out the board now - the fans have played a part in that and given the track record I expect will also find flaws in whatever the alternative is
Shocking isn’t it ,people having opinions?
Even opinions you don’t agree with!!!!
What is the world coming to when people don’t share your views???
Only solution I can see for you is blindfolds and earplugs and sit in a corner clapping ….. clap, clap clap ….

I can’t help but think, despite my doubts and fears about the future, that the media seem to be in witch-hunt mode with these, because it’s us they’re wanting to get involved with. Would they have the same energy if it was say a Wolves, Luton, Sheffield United etc? And why no criticism when the Saudis bought Newcastle or the takeover drama at United?

So if they came in and ruined us, would you not complain 'why did nobody say anything or stop them?'

Rather keep Moshiri.
He has nothing left to offer- his money supply has dried up, his creditworthiness is basically zero, he has had his UK banking withdrawn, his "expertise" has got us into this mess. His associations expose us to legal jeopardy.

Anyone, you or I, a lad picked at random from the Gwladys, would be as effective an owner as Moshiri is now.

Given the scale of our existing debts, I don’t think 777 are going to be able to borrow shedloads of money to add to it.

It is hard to see any financial institution doing so.
It won`t be borrowings from banks or financial institutions, it will be borrowings from the un-named secret investors, which after the whole Moshiri-Usmanov ownership appears to be much murkier..

This basically. Unless his personal situation suddenly changes (unlikely) he is of zero use to EFC anymore so he needs to go for that reason alone.

Some figures seen, shares £500m, phased payment, sliding scale with a max £500m, unlikely, depends on performance, debts £250m 2 lenders, complete stadium £200m, total £950m but likely less, seems like 777 temporary owners looking to sell on before all payments made.
