I doubt that it will effect us really. 777 don't have enough cash to buy 'star' players and then move them about and the teams they have been buying are pretty mediocre.
It's not about buying 'star players' it's useful for helping players to get around permits and just get general game time/experience. It needs 14 votes to pass and something like 7 of the current clubs benefit from the multi club setup so it's unlikely to get passed imo. It does seem like a bit of a thing to wind up the horse punchers and stop them loaning players in January.

Player loans with 777 partners will be like reshuffling assets based on a negative externality to their operation (such as relegation). For instance, in case we get relegated, Doucoure, DCL and Pickford will be moved around if not outright sold like Onana.

That Joshimar and Athletic articles actually raise some important points relating to ownership models, like are we to be owned by 777 partners or some subsidiary of 'partners' who can front that cash in exchange for a share in that company. Who are we in the 'we are using our own money argument'?

Is there any actual chance for other bidders to swoop in from here on in?

Don't want Americans. Chinese or Indians thanks
