Ok looks like this could be happenning

I will have to do my research later and see what I think

Ultimately, I am open minded to any new investors and will listen to what they say, and above all judge them on what they do. I'm naturally pessimistic as an Evertonian, but we'll have to wait and see, and I don't think now is the time for entrenched positions or hysteria.

Moshiri wants out and if he sells to these investors, then I don't think it's likely we will be in a worse position than the current status quo. How much better things will get is an entirely different question and I have no clue on that one.

Premier League voted for a cap on leveraged buyouts of clubs. The cap is assumed to be 65% value of the club.

People are saying 777 don't have the money so they're going to have to borrow and leverage the debt on the club eg Glazers at United.

Therefore the idea is if we're valued at say £900mill (which isn't unreasonable), 777 could leverage around £500mill against the club.

Hence why it's a bad thing. And also why I don't see 777 buying us out.

Hmmm. If that’s the case then I can’t for the life of me see this happening. They couldn’t afford to buy the club even with the £500m borrowed.

I'd say Seville are probably closest in size to us, let's see how they are doing this season....lol

Does seem very much a case of " be careful what you wish for " potentially happening...

Reality is Mosh provided the funds just poor football decisions / bad risks cost us...

This does depend that we aren't about to go to the wall though. If it's this or administration and a points deduction we have to take the buyout. To not would just be causing more self harm, reduce the chances of Moshiri being able to sell and so on.

Just hoping for another contender to emerge.

If and it is an if mate because Moshiri has to provide a guarantee to the PL on an annual basis that has prepared to fund the club. and we've just generated a lot of capital in the the last two transfer windows thats clearly gone into cashflow. Then the position doesn't really change with 777 - are they going to provide money for cashflow, they haven't at any other club. Our costs wont change at all, unless they are planning to reduce debt - which stands at £300 mill, soon to be £550 - they wont be doing that given we've taken out fresh debt £100 mill in the last month, if they were we wouldnt be taking that out.

100% agree mate - if 777 buy the club there needs to be action taken.

Make no mistake FB92 will not forget the names of those complicit in the destruction of Everton Football Club. Sadly its not just Bill Kenwright & Boris Johnson who have put us in this perilous situation - some "fans" and I use that term loosely both on social media and the fan forums cheerleading for these leeches to get a hold of us / BMD because they have to look "right" on the internet about Moshiri and/or Usmanov.
Eh?

There can be multiple bad things...
Of course there can. But if what we are led to believe is correct, then Farhad is running the club day to day because his accounts are basically frozen in the UK. We need to sell as soon as possible.

There is talk of us being sold. Yet people are then unhappy about who we are being sold to.

I get there are loads of 777 issues however if they are involved with loads of teams then they must of passed all of them relevant league/countries directorship tests.
