If and it is an if mate because Moshiri has to provide a guarantee to the PL on an annual basis that has prepared to fund the club. and we've just generated a lot of capital in the the last two transfer windows, Then the position doesn't really change with 777 - are they going to provide money for cashflow, they haven't at any other club. Our costs wont change at all, unless they are planning to reduce debt - which stands at £300 mill, soon to be £550 - they wont be doing that given we've taken out fresh debt £100 mill in the last month, if they were we wouldnt be taking that out.

Due diligence whilst deciding whether to buy us should indicate how much we need to pay out, I would think it would be crazy for someone to buy us and then we still go into administration because of say the 200 million owed to LoR, especially given the leverage rules which would mean they would be risking at least some of their own capital.

That said if we actually desperately need a takeover they'll probably turn out not to have the funds or fail the PL fit and proper test as that's just Everton.

IMO in the very immediate term yes (anyone would be) as Moshiri is a busted flush and we need money to keep the lights on. Getting Moshiri out is utterly essential.

In the mid-long term they are probably not a good thing, although they are too recent as investors in football to truly know this. The signs are not good though.

The hope is they are here for the short term then flipping to other better investors for a profit.
