You can sign more than one exclusivity deal.... the notion that you are bound to just speaking to one party is incorrect.

Man Utd signed exclusivity with Jassim and Ratcliffe but apparently there were more.
Neither Jassim or Ratcliffe gave the club 180 millions pounds to keep the lights on...by taking the money, moshiri has no other choice than to wait for the PL decision which is probably the right thing to do...problem is the PL is starting to really take the p*** now and probably are enjoying it too.

Except we aren’t waiting for the PL.
The PL are waiting for 777 to provide sufficient evidence of their financial stability.
They clearly haven’t been able to provide it yet or they would have been approved.
They also couldn’t provide it to the Belgian authorities, but they panicked and waived them through regardless.
I hope the PL continue to request they provide the required evidence, before approving them.
They haven’t ‘given’ us anything either , they have lent us money at a high rate of interest.

No idea if true buy very funny if so

Yeah, would like to see this confirmed one way or another. If it's in fact a situation where the PL is never going to say "no" outright but only decides whether to say "yes" when all of the criteria (whatever they are) are met, then it really does seem like it's up to Moshiri as to how long it draws out before he gives up and tries to find another buyer. Or I guess 777 could back out on their side. Otherwise, the league could leave it open indefinitely.

That would at least explain what the heck is taking so long.

That’s not true. Moshiri still controls the club and now has 180 million to finish the stadium. He’s likely talking to others and waiting for whatever exclusivity period in place to end

He doesn't have £180m - the club have spent the money 777 have lent to them to pay LOR and operating costs.

He needed 180 million. He got 180 million.

Between that and the cash from MSP he’s financed 320 million in a very short amount of time without putting in any of his own capital. This was money he would have been on the hook for.

He still controls the club and got someone else to pay to finish the stadium.

He still has hundreds of millions behind that money which is our security against him putting the club into admin.

Couple of things:
Interest on the loan for the money that they give us so far is on 777, not us.
All required information was provided to the PL. The PL is the one that keeps asking more information based on what was provided to date. Perhaps they are doing their due diligence making sure they are making the right call, or they are just playing for time to punish us.
Belgian authorities did not waive them through...the issue with liege right now is not only with 777 but also their previous owner that he is not willing to pay his fair share for legacy issues that should have been handled before 777 takeover.

There are rules in business...for me is perfectly acceptable for moshiri to wait on the PL before making his move bearing in mind the commitment 777 has shown to date. PL has to decide ASAP. Either yes or no rather than delaying everything.

According to what I have read the Belgian authorities did have serious concerns about 777, but because Liege were in serious financial difficulties they allowed 777 to assume control.
You are splitting hairs about the loan , the point is it is a loan and not a gift as you intimated.
And the interest rates are relatively high , which Everton will have to repay.
If all the required information had been satisfactorily provided to the PL they would have been approved by now . We can see how long the approval process takes when the applicant has the necessary funds and can provide the information , with Ratcliffe at ManU, that took around 50days to compete , 777 are still unable to satisfy the criteria around 150 days after applying.
Clearly they are having problems providing the necessary information .
Supporters of Liege , Hertha , and Vasco de Gama have been vociferously protesting about their ownership citing lack of investment and ambition, it’s not hard to see why .
This group only take out , they don’t put in.

Clearly something is not right....

I`d also say we are in much much bigger trouble if £180m is to keep the lights on, our annual turnover is an average of £180m and we need that again to keep going!

Just relegate us now.
