Perhaps we will have to be dangled over the abyss before the right owners come forward.

I'm still very doubtful that 777 will takeover and certainly don't want them to.

Time for the fit and proper persons test to step up here.

Perhaps if this falls through then the available options for Moshiri narrow considerably and there is pressure brought to bear such that he realises that.

Defo in my opinion mate, that MSP deal, he was taking them to the cleaners.

Even at £150 mill it values Everton at £700 mill, sorry you’d want to be off your bin spending/taking on £700 mill to buy this skip fire.

It’s why 777 are circling, they may be able to raise £150 mill in finance - agree to take on the debt, then just asset strip to meet debt repayment as required, improving our debt position, thus their equity, overall the asset appreciates, we get worse they get rich.

They will have no problem getting £120 mill next summer selling Beto and Onana.

I'm not convinced Moshiri accepts 150m (though he should).

It would be senseless to sell in the secondary manner, and in fairness not what they have done at other clubs. The value is in keeping the club a PL club.

But I dont see it happening for point 1.

Are we really certain they dont have 500million liquid?

I mean they have alleged assets of 12billion, are we certain they couldnt get their hands on 500m?

Im just playing devil's advocate here, there is so much we dont know about these people.

I'm very doubtful they have 500m. For a PE firm of that nature, even a successful one, I cant see them sitting in that cash.

Now maybe a bank, or investors will lend them the money. A bit like MSP did. Raise funds etc. The conventional PE way. But it doesnt seem there was.

Apparently theyve not paid Herthas former chairman his 35m hes due. I'm not convinced they are whacking 500m on Everton.

They strike me as the sort of people who would wait for us to be relegated, or go into admin and buy for £1. That's the sort of markets they are shopping in.

I didn't say it was.

I am saying that these cowboys have begun the season as one would expect cowboys to begin a season: disastrously. There is nothing to recommend these chancers.

Is taking Liege to 3rd? Or Sevilla winning the Europa League not worth any credit?

From a footballing operations standpoint, are they not an upgrade on Kenwright?

I do t get why Moshiri would sell Everton now when in 12 months we be worth double to triple with the stadium, also don’t understand why it’s so hard to find a very rich buyer, football clubs especially PL ones are hard to find,
Take Utd 6 billion and then you need to spend 3-5 on a new stadium plus a few billion more to get them up the league, cost you a 3rd of the price to do that at Everton

He hasnt got much access to funds.

500m is a figure The Daily Mail are suggesting.

I think 500m is a fair price, for both parties, Moshiri still takes a massive bath at that price.
This message is brought to you by the "news" paper that couldn't spell 'five hundred million' correctly if their lives depended on it.

Have we have confirmation from The Beano yet?

Or they're kopites that want to put us into administration to finish us off.
Of all the many things the government has to deal with on a day-to-day basis I'm sure who owns a [minority] stake in some sports team that wins nothing, challenges for nothing, does nothing and has pretty much zero relevance beyond some city up north is not exactly top of their list of concerns...

Up to him really mate. He will no dobht try and do better, but here we are. I don’t think he’s getting much more or even that.

The club needs capital and cash flow mate. There are three ways of getting it. 1. The owner invests - 777 haven’t done this anywhere else. 2. The club borrows - with £550 mill in debt incoming we can’t afford to borrow, 3 Sell assets - players will be sold and as we have seen the last four windows they will be our ones.

Im open minded if there is another way mate.
