On the flip side, most of them didn’t do too badly last season

Standard Liege, 3rd
Seville, 12th
Genoa, promoted
Vasco da Gama promoted
Red Star France, 3rd (in the national league)

Hertha Berlin relegated
That's more encouraging tbf. Thought Hertha are in bundasliga still no?

FWIW… personally I can’t see 777 investing in Everton.

It just doesn’t seem to add up. I think Mosh is attempting to smoke someone else out here.

Whatever you think about Mosh, he’s quite a cool cookie. Remember how he dealt with Panarama… doesn’t give a flying one!

I think we're still hoping for Qatar and have planted this story now the United takeover has really dragged its feet.

I remain to be convinced 777 have funding to complete the deal.

I wonder if there is another buyer lurking.
God knows, what's happening, but surely you'd like to think Everton, will do their homework on 777?

For me, if it happens, will it jeopardise any sponsorship deals and naming rights for the BMD stadium...?

But we wait and see.

UTFTs!

Remember when Moshiri took over all we heard was that Moores guy from the US shouting his mouth off, saying he had completed the deal then next day BS Bill walked Moshiri out...

Could be that smokescreen again OR it could be that now the £100m MSP loan has landed he has time to negotiate... Is anyone likely to buy us until after our P&S case is heard?

Possible, but what I’ve been thinking since Moshiri said we were for sale but hasn’t got close to getting anything across the line is that he’s stalling until the war and sanctions are over. The second Usmanov gets spending power again, USM stadium, Finch Farm, sleeve sponsor etc. is back on the cards
