The winners get into the Europa League the following season. I would imagine it will be pretty tough qualifying for Europe next year as it will be a very competitive Premier league next year even if we sign the correct players and progress simply because all the other teams will be trying the same. In my view beggars can't be choosers and we should take what we can

I don’t think I’m questioning the validity of the ECL here as much as, it is worth it to Everton when they are trying to push for bigger things? I doubt it will be a springboard for the clubs from top leagues who land here. More likely it will weigh them down in the league.
