He exactly what Atsu was supposed to be, i.e. fast and direct and able to put crosses in.

Which sounds more like he is a replacement for Atsu rather than McGeady.

McGeady is way too inconsistent, but he has better natural skills than either of them.

I watched Mcgeady go an entire half without passing to one if our team or beat his man on saturday. For all his natural gifts hes very difficult to warm to.

Tbh a lot of your comments on McGeady seem to verge on repetitive abuse vs constructive criticism based on his actual performances that week.

Mirallas seems best when he is frequently rested, either by sitting out a few games or being withdrawn on 60/70mins. atsu hasn't looked quite able to cope with the physicality of the league so it might work well.

You really are quite hard on McGeady.

Iirc Atsu plays on the left for Ghana so we might try him there, to date we have only used him on the right. He may also be better suited to the Europa that Lennon is cuptied for. Doesn't look like we are getting Pienaar back anytime soon.

He's far too hard on him IMO. All three: Atsu, Geads, and Lennon could be impact subs.

You could add Mirallas and Pienaar to that as well given how they both seem to break down if they get a certain number of miles under their belt. Can we have 3 winger subs each game plus another 3 for the rest of the squad

To be honest,I admit being repetitive and will work on that, but it has nothing to do on weekly performance. A general view on him not being good enough long term. And why is not liking an Everton player considered abusing them? We have to like everyone that puts the shirt on? Like the blind leading the blind?

When everything that he does badly is pointed out and magnified as horrendous and anything he does well is ignored.
In all honestly McGeady frustrates the hell out of me but he does always seem to put the effort in and as long as he does that I'll support him in an everton shirt.

We got Rom because Chelsea didn't think enough of him.

Lots of players turn their careers around with a change of scenery, look at Bojan.

If he slots one past the RS then he has done enough already.

Hopefully he can improve Coleman's game. Ive felt at times this season Coleman has lacked anyone to play football with down our right side he advances to a point looks up and see no one there which forces him to play infield or backwards this was evident mostly aginst Spurs funnily enough. So I hope with Lennon's pace he can occupy opposition full backs and give Coleman space to run into or a pass as we all know how good he can be with a bit of space and time on the ball.
