Can't complain at the signing, hard to do business in January and we needed a winger better than McGeady/Atsu/Barkley/Naismith and we got one. If he impresses we can sign him full time, if not he's sent back to Spurs so it's no risk.

He can play at the highest level, he should balance up the team. I'm happy with him and prepared to give him a chance. We got him on a loan deal, we can't expect Messi. I think he will improve the team. Maybe more for the fact that it should mean other will now play in their best position. Time for Barkley to shine at No. 10.

Barkley won't be shining at number 10 for a good few years yet.

Too much pressure on him to do whats not natural to him and create every time he gets it.

Let him loose in the position he's played all his life, centre midfield. Then he'll shine, like he always has, every time he's played there.

He is an upgrade on Stuart Barlow , a downgrade on Robert Warzycha and a like for like trade in for cheese on toast.

I thought Lennon was fairly good at defending?
