...interesting view. Generally wingers blow hot and cold, either good or awful. The feedback from the Spurs fan on here is that Lennon isn't like that. He puts a real shift in week in week out, is rarely a brilliant match winner but rarely stinks the place out. We'll see.

TBF I don't watch him week in week out, but I've seen him play very well sometimes, and seen him do next to nothing in other games, out of the few games I've seen him play, which is why I have that impression. If spurs fans say otherwise, I'm probably wrong.

Im sure someone on here said that Martinez had met with his Dad the day before deadline day. Talk that we were trying to get him to sign a pre contract for the summer so we can get him on a free. Lennon looks our best winger at the moment. Didn't think I'd say that, but he's more confident and prepared to try and make something happen than McGeady/Naismith and he should be in the team. I like how he runs at people. Defenders don't like it.

I thought Lennon was weak against Chelsea. Though I like his speed and effort, his final ball and size are real detriments. Which has been his career description so far. A decent piece, but ultimately the squad will need more from him or to change tactics to get another central MF or F upfield with him. And maybe they should.

Yes, "no end product" is apt from what we've seen so far. A lot of activity to little end. And his shirt doesn't quite fit. Wonder if the FA and Chang will allow him a U-18 kit next match.
