McNulty was fairly certain we won’t pay £30 mill for him so really it’s a waiting game. If Fulham and Wolves want to pay that for him then that’s on them. The reports seem to suggest he wants to join us so I imagine there will be a deal to be done there.

Yeah he was not far off Kante in terms of stats, in his first season with us, having stood out in a truly wretched Villa side.
Iirc he somehow got hooked at HT when they visited Goodison that season, despite being their only decent performer.
