didn’t he have a relegation clause in his contract? 25m for a player were supposedly after for 2 years and our last bid of 36m being rejected...A player is worth however much a club is willing to spend sometimes we get absolutely bent over (Oumar) other times we come out winners (Gana)

You could have just put iwobi for bent over. Nothing will ever beat that for being shafted.

If we can agree a fee, he comes to us and it’s as simple as that. Don’t really believe any of the Wolves/Fulham stuff, at least to the extent of a fee being agreed anyway. Classic price driving tactic from Watford. I’d rather play the long game and get him for a reasonable 20mil~
Anything more is a bit worrying but the club have wanted him for years it seems so I wouldn’t lump it in the ‘panic/desperate’ category. All depends on the price this

Well yeah we all can and should have conviction with our views.

But in my opinion (see not hard to put that in there) there’s a difference between having conviction and posting your opinion as undoubted fact and dismissing anyone who doesn’t agree with you.

We all like to think we are right, but for me, you should never rule out the fact that you could also be wrong.

Anyway, it’s not just me who gets the vibe from the guy. He’s free to do what he wants tho and he doesn’t have to change his posting style just because we say so
