I'm not saying we are going to win, and definitely not saying that we should win either. But I don't think we are certain to lose either, so need to stop all the defeatism. We can get a point or even 3 if we perform, and things go our way. A point here is a point we don't need to get elsewhere and an extra point our rivals need to find somewhere.

We definitely can't afford to just write it off. Firstly because we're running out of games to save our skin, and secondly because we need to keep the fans onside and positive. Even a valiant effort in defeat would help to do that, a meek surrender and suddenly people start to look at things very differently.

Travel to Africa for International games.

Mali are in with a good chance of making the World Cup, so another toll on his body. He will also have to take part in the remaining qualifying games. Long distance travel is always a drain on players and COVID is still imposing restrictions internationally.

It’s just an all round pain really. Particularly when he is missing games for us right now.
 
He's definitely essential especially if Everton want to play a midfield 3, in a game against man city its imperative to opt for that setup. But if he's not fully ready he shouldn't be risked as there's a greater chance of us winning at wolves obviously
