Yon can’t be serious. Yes doucoure has a few goals under dyche and McNeil has 7 all season. But if doucoure, McNeil and iwobi are the 3 behind the striker next season, they will get 15 goals at the very most. So we’d need a striker to get 30

Mid table? We're fighting relegation for the second season in a row because we have players who struggle to pass a ball. And now we're wanting to reward them with money top 6 clubs are probably paying out.
Tbh i just laughed at the idea of him as a no 10. A role traditionally reserved for the most talented player. Only at Everton could it be suggested doucoure as a no 10.

We need better players than him if we want to be mid table.

I don't hate Doucoure and think he has his uses at times but we could have easily said we wanted to keep him but can only give you half of what you are on. Nobody else is coming in and giving him 50k a week let alone 100k.

Not on the money being quoted(if true) All of them should consider themselves lucky if they got an offer on the same money or even less.
As for do a job. He'll have a game say every 1 in 5 where he's more active than other games. But thats not through quality. Its more in your face play.
I guarentee you one thing. Nobody would be falling over themselves to sign him.
Hoping he has one of them games sunday. But Everton are a diabolical footballing side because of the recruitment of players like this.

….I think it’s a very sensible and obvious deal. Anyway, he’s now under contract so I imagine the club can seek a fee if he moves in the summer.

Are people saying his wage has been increased? I think that’s highly unlikely. Everton had the option to extend his current contract, there was no need to negotiate or increase his wage at all. We had the option to extend and Doucoure had no say it.
