Relegation would cost Everton more you disgusting skip of blancmange.

That reminds me, Valentines is sneaking closer.

As for Doucoure, 31 & his game is mostly about physicality & fitness

We'd be daft not to sell for a decent fee as long as we brought in a replacement who can score goals.

I agree , but it's finding a like for like player without spending a small fortune which, currently, we appear unable to do. For me, he is currently indaspensible as very few of our players are seemingly inept in front of goal and our current dip is noticeable without him.

The big problem is that although Doucoure is a technically poor footballer he suits Dyches system perfectly.

If we played more football and utilised a no 10 properly the smart call would be to get a £20 million fee for Doucoure and recruit Whittaker from Plymouth . You would get him for £5-10 million.

The problems is that whilst he gets goals and is a far better technical player he just doesn't have the same level of physicality

Relegation is certain if we sell him. No doubt about it.

It would be a huge blow. Imagine saying that exactly 12 months ago but Doucoure has been brilliant under Dyche.

You could see the Villa game psychologically what a difference it made to the rest having Doucs in there and we know v lower half teams he's probably the most credible scoring threat in the whole squad.

Get to the summer and decide then.

If Dele was in a better state then it might be worth the gamble but again someone who hasn't played seriously in premier league for nearly four years now.

If we sell him, it’s because we are penniless. Nothing would be reinvested in players of quality. Therefore we can’t sell him as it’s been proven we are terrible when he’s not available!

Doucoure seems a good sort, a real team player and let’s face it he’s already insanely wealthy from what we’ve paid him. The only time he kicked off (sitting on ball) was because he wasn’t being given a chance to help the team and since Dyche has come in and played him, turns out he had a point!

I’d be surprised if he kicked up a stink of Saudi offer him megabucks and I’d also be surprised if Saudi offered him megabucks because he’s not a trendy kind of player who promoted their brand
