No he doesn't "have to be worse than Walcott", but he has to have a manager who selects the best quality players and isn't clueless
 
Give him 5 starts in a row! He has NEVER had this since he came here. He has shown glimpses of ability with little game time. We have little to play for. It's time to see if he can cut the mustard, or put him in the shop window, if we plan to sell. I still believe we are making a big mistake by not playing him. Time will tell! Give him a proper chance Marco, try and find a settled lineup with this kid involved. Show a bit of faith in him for a whole month!

Weaken the team in hopes that Lookman becomes something he’s not been since joining? Seems a bit mad. He’s not that good.

How in his 7 and 13 minute cameos? Or that 1 game where he was slightly ineffective? Walcott does that every game and still plays.

Give him 5 or 6 games on the spin and see then

Our team is already weak! Give the kid a chance, there is little inspiration at the moment, maybe Lookman can provide some. It's asking alot to make an impact in a few minutes.
