Ademola Lookman

With Theo ill and Rico a doubt its time for him to step up.

Take the chance or its DAS SPL for you lad.

It also means we will probably have to draft in a yoot player for a replacement wide forward, any names lads?

What about that Broadhead, came on and scored in our glorious Sportpesa triumph?

exactly me, I fear this is what will happen
gets sold to some team like RBL or a Dortmund > tears the league up because it's not the same as the PL > big boys come knocking with mega money
I know he has the talent to achieve this as well but I guess Everton and Lookman aren't a decent match right now.
Sell him for £25m but with a sell on clause.
Cant see him achieving anything here, he's not shown anything when he gets a chance (all be it not a sting of games, but would say the manager doesn't see anything there in training to give him a run)

You’ve got to wonder why we were so keen to keep him? He’s barely featured this season. Is it because of his attitude that he wasn’t allowed to move last summer. In all likelihood it looks like he’ll be in his way, if he is let’s hope it’s to palace (who he’s been linked with) and we get wan Bissaka in return.

Sounds like consistency in training

Marco Silva has told Ademola Lookman he has "big, big potential" but won't be in the team unless he delivers consistently in training.

Silva has revealed to the ECHO that the 21-year-old has been inconsistent in training at Finch Farm this season, playing his way into the starting XI one day but then leaving the Blues boss with "doubts" 24 hours later.

We know what his quality is and you know I believe in his quality since the first day I saw him so it has to be same Lookman everyday with the same desire everyday.

“He needs to understand what the coach wants coming from him, and any winger in our model, because, after that, the quality he has.
“He is a young football player but, being honest with you, I expect Ademola to be on a different level already this season.

“I keep believing, 100%, in his quality as a football player, there are no doubts about that, but what I want to see coming from him is the same desire coming from him, each day, to achieve that, to reach that level he wants and the level I believe he can play at."

"I see one Lookman doing fantastic things one day and I say: 'Ok, it will be this week' and maybe the next day I have doubts.
"I don't want this because, in my opinion, he has big, big potential.”

The solution to Wisdom Lookman's woes might be as simple as one or two counselling sessions with Snail Keane. Like Wisdom, Snail has experienced the incapacitations that acute homesickness can inflict...thus, a quiet word in Wisdom's shell-like might work wonders. It's been mentioned on here a couple of times by people familiar with the affliction, that grabbing an old mattress from home can alleviate homesickness (familiar smell and bed bugs)...I guess that's worth a try. I may have recounted the story of Ross Pottinger (Potty) who got terribly homesick on a camping trip back in the 70s...he was a wimpy pain in the arse the whole trip ...in hindsight, I don't think my calling him a big girl's blouse the whole time, helped Potty much...

I think at this point Lookman + £20mil is interesting for Wan-Bissaka

He just doesn't work hard enough on the ugly side of the game. Once he loses the ball there is no determination to win it back, even worse he wont press with the team. The was Silva wants us to press means he wont start many games.
