Lookman, when he comes on has been busy and worked hard but it is hard to affect a game with 15/20 left.

I have been impressed by his upturn in work rate but as Silva says, he is inconsistent. Still very young and finding his feet in a competitive team.

Interesting isn't it? The front four of DCL, Richarlison, Bernard and Sig seem to be pretty set now and are performing well, but behind them, there is barely anyone making a case for inclusion. Walcott has had a poor season, Lookman has not really done much when he's come in, Dowell has had a poor '2nd season'. The only one who has really stepped up is Vlasic, and hopefully he'll be rewarded by a place in the squad next year. If we sneak into Europe then we'll need better quality in depth.

I would counter that if his attitude was spot on, he’d have played in place of Walcott rather than be glued to the bench.
