Very skilful player, gets minimal gametime, shows talent and bright sparks when he does play, good record in the Bundesliga (better than the other wingers here), and only 21 years old

None of our other wingers have played in DAS SPL.

Speaking as an Everton fan I couldnt care less what hes done for other teams.

Isn't it getting boring to trash our young players? We have a good crop for the first time in a long time - DCL, Lookman, Kenny, Richarlison, Holgate, Davies, maybe Dowell....they COULD be a core of the squad for 5-10 years and we could do what no other PL club is doing , and has not been done since the great Man U teams - i.e. build a young, long-term squad rather than buying a short - term one. It will make us unique because we can't compete with anyone on cash terms alone. Ajax, Tottenham have shown the way, arsenal tried but failed, and it's definitely worth a try

I don't get it either. I don't all of the players you mentioned will make it here but I don't get the attitude that is displayed towards them for the most part. Lookman and Dowell are the weirdest because they have a large amount of ability which isn't something we have a ton of in that squad it's constantly they're too lazy to make it talk.

20m for a player who has made 3 starts is a no brainer, Southampton will probably sell him for 40 min because he'll start every week and show how good he is but that's Football.
:bye:
We're Everton though. Sell him for 20 mil and weave in a buy-back option at 60.

It is a massive shame, but I find it happens more online than in real life to be honest

At the match I find the majority of the crowd are supportive of the kids

Trying to channel his obvious talent onto an actual football pitch.
I was thinking basics like being able to trap a ball, pass accurately, make incisive runs, take shots on target.... he seems pretty good at all those basics when he plays.
I would proffer that the issue is not a debate about his quality but one that centres around our own ability to keep a player of that quality sitting on the bench or in the stands on a Saturday afternoon, week in, week out.

But that's ridiculous though

If he has done well at other clubs then it suggests he could do well for us

And if he's been tosh for other clubs then it suggests he'd be tosh for us as well

Form at other clubs should definitely come into consideration when considering what a player can do for us

Still think we should try to hang on to him, especially if Vlasic leaves. If either Richarlison or Bernard is unavailable, I'd much rather turn to him than Walcott, Mirallas or Bolasie.
